Fiorella joined WorldPop in 2026 as a GIS Technician within the Geospatial Data and Analysis Team.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and later completed an MSc in Urban Spatial Science at University College London (UCL). Her background combines urban analytics, GIS, and geospatial data science.

Her work supports the FuturePop project, working on the harmonisation and analysis of global administrative boundary and population datasets, contributing to the development of high-resolution population mapping methods.
