Her research interests revolve around using mathematical models to understand the dynamics of infectious diseases. She obtained her BSc. Education (Mathematics, Economics) from Makerere University, Uganda (2013), MSc in Mathematical Sciences at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) and University of Stellenbosch, South Africa (2017).
Fatumah is currently completing her PhD at the University Of Southampton. Her PhD thesis focuses on building mathematical models to investigate the dynamics of Buruli ulcer disease.
